Why is my 4G refurbished phone impacted by the closure of the 3G network?
Some phones can’t use the full 4G network on Australia’s Band 28 (700Mhz). Because of this, they’ll have reduced and intermittent connectivity after our 3G network closes. This may affect some calls to emergency services. It's important to act now, even if you have a newer device. To check your phone, SMS 3 to 3498. Alternatively, refer to your manufacturer's device guide.
